The application we developed classifies the images in real time, using the integrated camera of your laptop or phone in 7 categories, which are: Cardboard, Glass, Metal, Organic, Paper, Plastic, Trash such as styrofoam plates and cups or cut paper.
Is recicla.ia a robot?
The idea is that in the future it will be an automated machine that combines robotics, AI and machine learning to divert the discarded item to its corresponding container and incentivize people to recycle with prizes through an app.
